Tennis, a sport known for its elegance and agility, has found a warm home in the heart of the Mediterranean - Malta. The island nation, although small in size, has shown a big heart for tennis, nurturing the sport through various organizations and state-of-the-art facilities.
At the helm of tennis affairs in Malta is the Malta Tennis Federation. This governing body oversees the organization of various tournaments and updates rankings for different categories including Boys Under 12, 14, 16 and Girls Under 12, 14. The federation recently concluded the Malta Junior Open 2023 and the TCK Open 2023, showcasing the budding talent in the country.

Located in Paola, in the south of Malta, Tennis Club Kordin is a public tennis facility that has become a hub for tennis enthusiasts. The club boasts 4 hard courts, fully equipped with LED lights, right next to a clubhouse for spectators. TCK is home to multiple local tournaments, with the TCK Open, the Juniors Open and the ITF international tournaments being the highlight of the year.

The Marsa Sports Club is another testament to Malta’s love for tennis. The club has a total of 18 tennis courts, one of which is clay, two are indoor courts with floodlights, and the rest of the courts are hard surface. Eleven of these hard surface courts are floodlit. One of these hard courts is an international court, with a spectator seating capacity of five hundred people.
